Vintage card cuttings are available for sale in my Ebay store.
One of my favorite memories of reuse when I was growing up was my mother cutting up magazines, catalogs, church bulletins and greeting cards to salvage the artwork and use in other projects. I remember her boxes and boxes of cuttings and loved to look through them and imagine how she would use them. I am following this tradition by cutting up vintage greeting cards. I sat for hours next to her bedside during her last two years with us and cut greeting cards or fabric appliques to pass the time and connect with her ever creative spirit. Vintage greeting cards appeal to me for the varied styles of artwork and fonts and papers that define the decades of the last 100 years. After cutting up the cards, I either use them in my own work or sort and package them to sell for other artist and crafters to use.
